Ground-Powered Light Above the Worksite.
The Tethered Lighting Drone brings downward LED illumination above emergency-response sites, nighttime construction and temporary field operations. Four 150 W lighting groups provide 600 W total lighting power, with PWM-controlled stepless dimming from 0–100%. The system combines an aircraft, lighting groups, an integrated ground power supply and cable reel, and an onboard power supply for extended tethered operations. Automatic hovering, GPS position and altitude hold, route planning and real-time data viewing support the operator, while a 100 m cable connects the aircraft to the ground system.

Four-Group LED Lighting
Four lighting groups deliver 150 W each for 600 W total lighting power. Each group contains 18 LED elements and provides downward illumination for field tasks.
Stepless Brightness Control
PWM control switches the lamps and adjusts brightness continuously from 0–100%. Each lamp group has specified luminous flux of at least 20,000 lm.
Tethered Power Integration
The aircraft, lighting groups, integrated ground power supply and cable reel, and onboard power supply work together to support extended aerial lighting with a 100 m cable.
Hovering and Flight Control
Remote control, automatic hovering and GPS position and altitude hold support aircraft operation. Route planning, real-time data viewing and one-key return provide additional operator functions.
Ground Control and Monitoring
The ground unit combines automatic and manual cable management with power controls, a 7-inch display, operating indicators and alarm prompts for monitoring the tethered system.
Lamp Thermal Protection
Aluminum-alloy heat sinks provide passive cooling. Lamp thermal protection activates above 60°C, and brightness is limited to 20% above 80°C to manage elevated lamp temperatures.
Downward Lighting for Nighttime Work
Four LED lighting groups create an elevated, downward-facing light source for emergency response, construction and temporary field work. Each 150 W group contains 18 LED elements, with luminous flux specified at ≥20,000 lm per group and luminous efficacy at ≥140 lm/W.
PWM control provides lamp switching and 0–100% stepless dimming. Height-referenced illuminance ranges from ≥2,000 lux at 10 m to ≥50 lux at 50 m. Aluminum-alloy heat sinks and temperature-triggered protection support thermal management during use.

An Integrated Ground-to-Air System
The lighting system connects the aircraft and onboard power supply to a combined ground power supply and cable reel. The ground unit measures 350 × 260 × 300 mm and carries 100 m of cable, with automatic and manual reel controls, a 7-inch display, power management and alarm indicators.
Remote control, automatic hovering, GPS position and altitude hold, route planning, real-time data viewing and one-key return support flight operation. Aircraft tethered operating time is specified as ≥24 h, while emergency-lighting duration is separately specified as >12 h.
